Osman Eroġul

He received the B.S. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Military Academy in 1981, the M.S. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Middle East Technical University in 1985, and the Ph.D. degree in Electronics Engineering from the Ankara University in 1997.

Between 1983-1989, he had worked as an instructor at the Military Academy. He was employed at Gulhane Military Medical Academy (GMMA) in 1989.

Between 1995-1997, he had worked as a research scientist in Communications Research Centre, Ottawa, Canada in the field of speech processing. He also attended various training courses about medical imaging systems in different countries. (Germany, USA, Holland and Japan).

He became a professor in 2009, and was the former chairman of Biomedical Engineering Center at Gulhane Military Medical Academy. He published several books and papers on physiological signal processing, medical technology management, quality assurance systems, biomedical engineering, audio and image processing. He has also worked on custom made medical implant design and manufacturing at Gulhane Military Medical Academy. He has given several courses related to the biomedical engineering at the Department of Electronics Engineering in Ankara University, Department of Biomedical Engineering in Baskent University and Health Sciences Institute of Gulhane Military Medical Academy.

He has been currently working with TOBB University of Economics and Technology as a head of Department of Biomedical Engineering and director of Graduate School of Science and Technology. He is married and has a son.
